Dominic Lavin was born in 1970 and grew up in the north of England. Throughout school and University he participated
in Athletics and Rugby League. He began training in martial arts in 1992 after watching some fights organised by Sandy
Holt of Bolton Thai boxing club.
By the end of 1995 he had fought 4 times, and despite a career change leaving him unable to find the time to compete,
he managed to train regularly with instructors including Steve Reilly, Darren Phillips, Sandy Holt and Master Sken to name
just a few.
These days Dominic spends most of his time in Thailand where he regularly trains at Jitti Gym in Bangkok and has
recently released his debut novel which can be seen at www.lastseeninbangkok.com
