J oe Ball has been engaged now for three years, and is looking forward to getting married next May.
He's 28-years-old and has worked in Iowa as a Materials Sampling and Testing Tech for the past 2 years for S&S Mine south
of Knoxville.
Joe's hobbies include: MMA, Iowa Hawkeye Wrestling, camping, hiking and the Iowa fight scene.
MMA
has been a passion of his for about 10 years now. He watched his first UFC back in the 90's in a crowded room
with some friends, and he's been happy to witness the sport explode since. He wrestled in high school and has
the intention of training for MMA beginning this summer. He truly admires the relentless dedication that MMA fighters
posses.
He knows and respects the fact that overcoming the mental obstacles and being able to have so much
belief in yourself and pressing forward with your dreams takes courage and tenacity.
He's been lucky enough
to meet some of the pioneers and great fighters of our time. He's connected with Royce Gracie, Randy Couture, Tim Sylvia,
Matt Hughes and Josh Neer. He enjoys traveling to MMA events across the state of Iowa.
