My
name is Jack Bratcher. I'm from
Nashville, Tennessee. My interest
and fascination with martial arts
began when I was just a wee lad. Me
and my friends would teach ourselves
everything we could until I finally
got to take my first Karate classes.
I remember being in seventh grade
getting to spar against grown men
and policemen that were in our class
and I realized age and size was not
necessarily the biggest factor in a
fight. I went on to later study
martial-arts while in college but
never got to the level of
competition. I was an amateur
skateboarder and most of my free
time was spent practicing that
sport. Also as a youngster I liked
watching wrestling until I became
old enough to realize it was all
fake. So from that time until I saw
my first UFC match there was nothing
on TV to satisfy my love for combat
sports. Then I got to see UFC 1 and
that all changed. Through the years,
I had seen all of the great
martial-arts movies; I used to love
the show Kung-Fu with David
Carridine; but none of it compared
to the real thing which was first
brought to us in the UFC. My hobbies
now include watching MMA, computer
stuff, and video gaming.
