FLORIDA GRAPPLES AUTISM SATURDAY, AUG. 20 IN CORAL SPRINGS

CORAL SPRINGS (Aug. 17, 2011) - On Saturday, August 20, Grapplers Quest is hosting the 2011 Southeast Grappling and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Open Championships at Coral Springs Gymnasium located at 2501 Coral Springs Drive in Coral Springs, Florida.

Grappling is the fast paced ground fighting art of Mixed Martial Arts. It combines the throws of Olympic Judo, the takedowns of Greco Roman and Freestyle Wrestling, Leg Locks from Sambo, and other Submissions from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu like arm bars, shoulder locks and chokes.

The August 20 grappling tournament in Coral Springs will be raising funds forAutismRadio.org, a 501c3 charitable organization benefiting Autism Awareness, Family Support, Education, Treatment and Autism Talk Radio Network. $1 from each ticket sold and competitor entry will be donated. Spectator Tickets will be available at the door for $20, under 12 is free.

Fighter registration, open to all competitors, grappling styles, independents and teams will be accepted at the door. Cash only
