WSU presents “The Uncensored Rumble IV”
Sat Jun 25 7:00PM ET

Click here to watch this event on GoFightLive!

Women Superstars Uncensored (WSU), the leader in women’s wrestling today, is proud to announce our fourth iPPV event, as WSU presents “The Uncensored Rumble IV” on June 25th, 2011. For the first time ever, The Uncensored Rumble will be broadcast on iPPV! Fans in attendance & fans who buy the iPPV are guaranteed 10 matches, including every WSU Championship being defended, as well as the Uncensored Rumble Battle Royal match.

Mercedes Martinez is the longest reigning & defending champion in all of women’s wrestling, having held her championship for 30 months. In that time, Martinez has made 42 World Title defenses against the likes of Mickie James, Awesome Kong, Nikki Roxx, Rain, Portia Perez, Alicia, Angel Orsini, Serena Deeb, Jazz & countless others. Another name on Martinez’s list of defeats is none other than Brittney Savage. However, this will be the first ever iPPV main event for Brittney Savage & the first time Savage challenges for the WSU World Title on a sole WSU event. (Savage’s other title challenges took place during “On The Road” events.)

Brittney Savage is a homegrown WSU star. In her first year, she won the Tag Titles with Miss April (AJ of WWE Smackdown). In her second year, she won the Spirit Title and went on to be the longest reigning & most reigning Spirit Champion in WSU history. During her reign as Spirit Champion, she tried to ascend to the next level, but was shut down by Mercedes Martinez in a title vs title match which ended when Savage got herself DQ’d. Last year, during Savage’s quest to win the WSU World title, he actually nailed Martinez with a bullrope and tied her to a car. Savage attempted to drag Martinez down a street, but Martinez broke free at the last second. This set up a bullrope match, where Martinez had to go through the entire Cosmo Club to get to Savage. Martinez won the match and cracks in the Cosmo Club were evident.

WSU has signed 10 matches for this show.

MAIN EVENT The Fourth Annual Uncensored Rumble Match The winner of this 25 woman battle royal, contested under “Royal Rumble” rules, will become the new number 1 contender to the WSU World Championship. The winner of this match will challenge whoever the WSU champion is at the next WSU iPPV event. The people competing in this match include everyone else who has matches on the card except for Mercedes Martinez, Brittney Savage & Cindy Rogers. In previous years, we’ve had surprise entrants for this match & live on iPPV, you never know who will show up…

First Time Ever Nikki Roxx vs Serena Deeb

The person to score the final elimination for their team will earn the right to enter the Rumble as the last entrant. “Pryme Tyme” Amy Lee & Jamilia Craft & Jana & Nikki Styx vs Allisyn Kay & Rick Cataldo & Monique & Jennifer Cruz

We are promising that this will be the biggest women’s wrestling show of the summer. The future of many careers will be impacted at this show. The course of WSU will change at this show and make sure to be there live or see us on iPPV to see what we mean…

KELL BROOK: THIS IS MY TIME TO SHINE

Posted on | June 24, 2011 | No Comments

Sheffield star aiming to impress against Lovemore N’dou

Kell Brook says he is desperate to impress as he faces Lovemore N’dou in his hometown show tomorrow night live on Sky Sports 2 and HD2.

The Hillsborough Leisure Centre is sold-out as the unbeaten Welterweight aims to be the first fighter to stop the experienced Australian-based South African, fighting in his 63rd contest.

“I cannot wait to get in there tomorrow night,” said Brook at Friday’s weigh-in at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield. “It’s a sell-out show and I reckon we could’ve sold it out twice with all the people still asking me for tickets.

“N’dou is the toughest fight of my career so far but I need tests like this to prove that I am ready to mix it at World level. He’s been in with the likes of Saul Alvarez and Matthew Hatton and has gone the distance with them so I know what’s ahead of me.

“But training has been fantastic and I am in great shape and I believe I can be the first to stop him, I really do.”

Fellow Sheffield fighter Ryan Rhodes was at the weigh-in fresh from his fight with Alvarez in Mexico, and the 34 year-old is confident Brook can step up to the mark.

“N’dou is a step up for Brook but I think he’s ready for it. They both look in fantastic shape so it’s looking like it will be a very good fight – and I fancy Kell to do the business.”

Official weigh-in results

Kell Brook (10st 6lbs 3oz) v Lovemore N’dou (10st 6lbs 11oz)

Richard Towers (17st 1lbs) v Ismail Abdoul (15st 5lbs)

Wayne Reed (12st 14oz) v Robin Reid (12st 4lbs)

Paul David (13st 6oz) v Billy Boyle (13st 4lbs)

Chris Truman (9st 7lbs) v Lee Jennings (9st 6lbs 6oz)

Ryan Aston and Iain Jackson weigh-in tomorrow.
