Fighting Government Corruption and Waste: Watchdog on Wall Street Chris Markowski Weighs In

Posted on | June 17, 2011 | No Comments

"Watchdog on Wall Street" Chris Markowski's roles are reversed when Rich Bergeron interviews this popular talk show host about the distressed U.S. economy.

As part of Fight News Unlimited’s plan to expand our coverage to cover fights of all kinds on all fronts, we spoke today with Chris Markowski, known as the Watchdog on Wall Street.

[mpinpage]

“Rabble Rousin'” Rich Bergeron interviewed Markowski earlier today to tackle the fight against government waste and corruption that is playing out in congressional debates and is a topic TV news pundits are constantly discussing these days. Markowski is a political and economic expert and nationally-syndicated radio talk show host. Chris talks about a variety of different topics surrounding our volatile United States economy in our podcast below.

USA Today reported recently that the US Government will be on the hook for 61.6 trillion dollars in unpaid financial promises thanks in part to Social Security and Medicare. The Watchdog on Wall Street says if you add the financial bailouts and other government payouts for social programs we could see this number hit 100 trillion dollars. Chris Markowski predicted this would happen 5 years ago, and has been warning Americans for over 10 years.

That debt makes each US household responsible to pay $527,000.00 to fund these promises. That responsibility is 5 times the amount an average US home borrows for a house, car and other debt.

Chris Markowski’s Background:

* Hosts a syndicated radio show which is heard in over 100 markets
* Regularly featured expert on CW network’s “Daily Buzz”
* Frequent Contributor to FOX News and CNN
* President of Markowski Investments
* Appeared on “Inside Edition”
* Political and Financial Expert

KARIM “HARD HITTA” MAYFIELD
FACES STEVE FORBES TONIGHT ON ESPN2 FRIDAY NIGHT FIGHTS
By Vittorio Tafur ~ San Francisco Chronicle

It’s been a long time coming but the Fillmore’s Mayfield has a televised bout tonight on ESPN2. The welterweight faces former junior lightweight world champion Steve Forbes in Austin, Texas, in the “Friday Night Fights” co-feature to Fernando Guerrero’s NABF light middleweight title fight against Grady Brewer. The 30-year-old Mayfield (13-0, 8 KOs) hasn’t fought in a little more than a year, but has kept busy as one of Manny Pacquiao’s sparring partners. “I was inactive for a whole year, and I definitely should be at least 18-0 with all the promotional issues and opponents pulling out, but it’s my time now,” Mayfield said. “Steve Forbes has a lot of experience, but that stuff’s never meant nothing to me. I’m going in there to emerge victorious and have my hand raised.”

Open Letter to the Boxing Community Asking For Consideration of Robert Guerrero for Pound for Pound Ranking

Posted on | June 17, 2011 | No Comments

ROBERT “THE GHOST” GUERRERO

POUND FOR POUND?

To the Boxing Community,

In complete respect for your opinions and understanding that it must be very hard to comb through and observe all of the boxer’s careers throughout the world, in all the different weight classes, I ask you to please review the stats below and give consideration to Robert Guerrero as a candidate for the Pound for Pound rankings.

Robert Guerrero…

·         Has won world titles in multiple divisions:

o        Featherweight (2)

o        Jr. Lightweight

o        Lightweight

§         Undefeated in 6 world title fights winning 4 by KO

·         Welterweight: If the Maidana fight gets made and he is

successful in beating him with the title on the line, he’ll have

become a 6-time world champion in 4 different weight classes.

·         Is willing to fight all comers and the best in or around his division, never turning down a

fight.

·         Has boxed, fought inside and can be a counter puncher to win a bout.

·         Started fighting ten round bouts in his tenth pro fight.

o        In 13th pro fight beat former world champion Enrique Sanchez (30-2) who’s only

losses were to world champions Marco Antonio Barrera and Nestor Garza

·         Went overseas to capture a world title:

o        Stopped Spend Abazi (35-1) via 9th round TKO in his native country (Denmark).

·         Successfully fought and won in 5 weight classes (122, 126, 130, 135, and 139).

·         Won 90% + rounds in championship fights.

·         Undefeated since 2006 riding a 13-fight winning streak, avenging his only loss by

knocking out Gamaliel Diaz in rematch (6th round KO):

o        Only the great’s rematch and KO their nemesis.

·         Fought 7 current or former world champions.

·         With wife’s illness, still continued to win at the top ten level:

o        Named Fighters beaten during adversity…(Martin Honorio (KO), Jason Litzau

(KO), 2-time world champion Malcolm Klassen, Olympic Gold metal winner and

3-time world champion Joel Casamayor, Olympian Vicente Escobedo, 2-time

world champion Michael Katsidis).

I greatly appreciate your time and consideration of Robert Guerrero for the Pound for Pound list as I also greatly appreciate the great support you’ve all shown him in the past. Thank You very much for this consideration.

Best,

Mario Serrano
