IBF Cruiserweight champion to sit at a star-studded dais
Philadelphia (January 23, 2008)—IBF Cruiserweight champion Steve “USS” Cunningham is the latest addition to a star studded head table at this Monday’s 104th Philadelphia Sports Writers Association Dinner that will take place this Monday night at the Crowne Plaza in Cherry Hill, New Jersey
Cunningham, 21-1 with eleven knockouts will join such luminaries such a National League Most Valuable Player Jimmy Rollins of the Philadelphia Phillies, Jon Runyan of the Philadelphia Eagles, All-American Quaterback Matt Ryan of Boston Collage and Daniel Briere of The Philadelphia Flyers at the head table.
Cunningham of Philadelphia is coming off an exciting twelfth round knockout over number-one ranked Marco Huck on December 29th in Bielefeld, Germany.
Doors open at 5pm. The awards dinner begins at 6:30 pm and is open to the public.
