TRIPLE THREAT – LET WAR COMMENCE

With Enter the Battle only a few weeks away FAN looks at the martial arts element to this unique event by profiling just some of the Triple threat teams taking place in the battle to be crowned Triple Threat Champions 2010!

Triple Threat will see three worlds collide for the first time as Extreme Martial Artists, B.Boys and Trickers go head to head, so lets look at the front runners….

Trinity Warriors

Made up of technical tricker Ling, B.Boy Foggy and XMA champion Ryan Phillips, 2008 / 2009 Sony Ericsson UK B.Boy champions Trinity are ready to destroy everything in their path at Enter the Battle. A true crew in every way encompassing everything that Triple Threat stands for. Be ready for amazing acrobatics, tight routines and real battle mentality as Trinity Warriors prepare for domination. Look out for intense rivalry with MSJ sure to produce explosive results.

MSJ

Formed purely to compete at Enter The Battle MSJ consists of XMA forms champion Joe Hallett, high flying tricker Mikey French and B.Boy Swifty. A hybrid of mind boggling speed, eye watering weapons skills and real B.Boy attitude. Formed from members of legendary martial arts Team Resurrection, XMA is ready to take its rightful place at the top of the pile, with MSJ leading the way. A unison of dance and martial arts of the most extreme kind, be prepared for flashing steel, high speed kicks, flips and dazzling B.boy skill.

Stray Animalz

Vicious London inner city crew Stray Animalz made up of B.Boy Shihimai Kyou, ruthless XMA maestro Alex Sharples and tricker Owen Ling are on their home turf and will defend it with a killer instinct! Battling all out Stray Animalz represent the best of a new breed of devastating martial arts and dance fusion. Nothing to loose, everything to prove, it will be non stop action as this crew moves to take its place in the future of Triple Threat and the extreme urban battling scene.

Team Elite

The youngest Team in Triple Threat, knowing no fear, Team Elite are the future of extreme entertainment. Formed from All round tricker/dancer and XMA weapons performer Anton Simpson-Tidy, emmerging B.Boy Munchy and stone cold xma performer Scott Elliott, Team Elite have the advantage of being right on the cutting edge of XMA, Dance and Tricking as they fuse together. Watch out for dazzling mid air displays of lightining fast weaponry mixed with clean forms and flowing tricks. Team Elite are the reason you should fear the youth of today.

Lets meet the Judges!
Chloe Bruce: A Worldwide martial arts icon. After winning numerous British, European & World titles in the competition scene, Chloe then broke into the tv & film industry performing alongside some of the top celebrities in the World today. Following her individual success, Chloe then went on to develop one of the top UK performance teams consisting of elite martial artists, dancers & trickers; ‘Team Fusion UK’. Since the creation of Team Fusion UK, our artists have performed all around the World at corporate events, sports fashion shows for Nike, Adidas and Reebok, B-BOY and Hip Hop dance Championships, Martial arts & kickboxing shows, trade shows, & film / TV

Damien Walters: A World renowned professional stuntman, gymnast and free runner with over 20 years experience. He has competed for GB and was ranked 4th in the world, winning the world championships. His showreel, which got him scouted by Jackie Chan’s stunt agent propelled him to world wide fame and became one of the most popular videos of all time on Youtube with over 6 million views. His career has spiralled with work on several Hollywood blockbuster films including Kick-Ass and Stephen Spielberg’s latest production I Am Number 4.

B.Boy Ivan, aka “The Urban Action Figure”: Without doubt the greatest Dance Sport Athlete on the face of the planet. Watching him perform is like watching an epic movie; He is Powerful and Graceful, displaying a truly unique style that is nothing short of Breath Taking. His ability to deliver and string together extreme acrobatic moves on the spot is incredible, at points he appears to defy gravity rotating in the air for long periods of time like something from a far fetched Kung Fu film.
