“Fight Night at The Cosmopolitan”combines the mystique and heart-pounding excitement of legendary Las Vegas boxing matches with a new and socially dynamic VIP experience at the heart of the dazzling Las Vegas Strip to bring fans an adventurous but uniquely sophisticated atmosphere. Fighting in the night’s 12-round main event will be the Dominican Republic’s once-beaten IBF #3-rated Victor “Mermelada” Cayo (20-1, 18 KOs) in an IBF Super Lightweight elimination bout, most likely against Baltimore’s IBF #5-rated Tim “Pitbull” Coleman (18-1-1, 5 KOs), pending approval. Cayo and Coleman will be competing for the right to face brand-new IBF champion Zab Judah.

Scheduled for the undercard are undefeated Cuban knockout artist Yunier Dorticos (10-0, 10 KO’s), undefeated Cuban super featherweight Rances Barthelemy (10-0, 8 KO’s), and Texas lightweight Hylon Williams Jr., (12-0, 3 KOs) in separate bouts.

“This is, quite simply, the Friday Night Fights broadcast of the year,” said Leon Margules, President of Warriors Boxing. “This is a terrific main event being held in the most beautiful space in all of Las Vegas. This show will set a new precedent for beautiful boxing locales in the United States.”

Luis DeCubas, co-promoter and President of Blue Wave Group, agrees.”This is the perfect location,” said DeCubas. “Open air with so many great vantage points, plus the broadcast on the giant marquee. I’m very proud to be a part of this amazing event.”
