Gleason’s own Sonya Lamonakis (Professional Boxer and Board of Ed school teacher) is making her fifth appearance in the ring on April 16, 2011.

The bout will take place at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods Resort & Casino in Mashantucket, Conn.

Lamonakis most recently fought on March 12. She won a six-round heavyweight-bout against Tanzee Daniels by unanimous decision. That win ran her professional record to 4-0. Sonya is currently ranked third in the women’s heavyweight division according towww.boxingrec.com.

Tickets to Sonya’s six round bout are $75.00. The $12.00 service fee is waived if you buy the tickets from Gleason’s Gym.
