Dear wrestling fans, I’m sad to report that we’ve failed to arrive at an agreement with Oklahoma State University to broadcast this years Big 12’s. This would have been our 5 th consecutive year of providing free, unbiased reporting of this tremendous Championship. To our thousands of loyal listeners please know that we’re sorry. To all of the programs of the Big 12, coaches and athletes, good luck, work hard and have a great tournament. On a brighter note, The 2009 Big 12’s will be held on the campus of University of Nebraska and we already have permission and an agreement in principle with Coach Mark Manning and his staff to continue to provide free unfettered coverage of this event in 2009.

So with that said, TDR returns to the Brute Adidas Studios for another tremendous show.

Guests Scheduled include:

Randy Buhr- Assistant Director of Championships for the NCAA. Randy will join us from the D 3 Tournament in Cedar Rapids Iowa at the US Cellular Center to discuss this years upcoming NCAA Championships in St. Louis Missouri. He’ll explain his role and that of those that he works with at the NCAA.
This will be Randy’s first visit with TDR.

Scott Fosler- Assistant Director of Brand Strategies and Events for the NCAA. Scott wears a lot of hats but we’ll focus on his duties surrounding this years NCAA Fan Experience, The NCAA Salute to Black History Month and what more fans can expect in St. Louis. Let me tell you, organizing these events is not easy. They make it a positive experience for the fans of college wrestling.

This program is on the move under Coach Randall and his staff. certainly one to watch at the NCAAs in St. Louis.

Kerry McCoy- Head Coach of the Stanford Cardinal. Last weekend Kerry’s team earned 2nd place honors at the Pac 10 Championships. While the rise in greatness has not been meteoric, it has been measured and well executed. We’ll talk to Kerry about the preparations for the NCAA’s in St. Louis, his teams conditioning and his predictions for this years event.

Jim Zalesky- Head Coach of the Oregon State Beavers. the Beavers had a good outing at this years Pac 10’s. Surely not the result that he and Coach Steiner hoped for but a decent showing for sure. Coach Zalesky has his opinions, we’ll discuss them and look to St. Louis and to the future for the great NW program. Oregon State took 3rd with 106 team points

John Azevedo- Head Coach of the Mustangs of Cal Poly. John joins us to discuss Chad Mendes and Chase Pami, their relative youth, growth and excellence on the mat. This program is on the move under Coach Azevedo and we’ll discuss his plans for growth and the NCAA’s. Cal Poly earned 99.5 points and took 6 th at this years Pac Championships in a very tight race for 2nd indeed.

Lennie Zalesky- Head Coach of the Cal-Davis Aggies joins us to discuss the conference, their finish in the Pac 10’s and what he has in store for the NCAA’s.
