Rick Slaton joins Rich and Tony tonight around 8:30 PM EST. Here’s a bit of Rick’s intense background: Rick’s the man behind Cage vs. Cons, an MMA show at the LA Sports Arena set for May 21, 2011.He says, “In short I guess I was a street fighter as a kid joined a gang then got into Mma. Went to 6-0 then went to prison for 4 years I found God in there….oh, and I forgot Ken Shamrock was my coach and he got me started. When I got out of prison, I started fighting again and worked at my church. I got to 9-0 and then lost to Shane Carwin. Now, I’m 10-2-1. Sherdog has me like 4-2 I think.” Rick has done a complete 180 since his time as a prisoner: “I’ve changed my life dramatically. I do alot of public speaking at schools about my life. KJ Noons and I started a non profit organization to get kids off the street. I’m fighting May 21 in an event called cagevscons.com I’m the main event, fighting a cop. Its also on pay per view. They’re also doing a movie documentary about it and my life. It will be in theaters, then on Showtime.
