Fighters get their final say before Saturday night’s fight card at the Aviator Sports Complex

NEW YORK (March 31, 2011)—On Wednesday Afternoon at Club 1849 that is located at 183 Bleecker Street in New York City, Havoc Boxing Promotions held the final news conference in advance of a big fight card that will take place this Saturday night at The Aviator Sports Complex in Brooklyn.

The main event will comprised of a ten round Light Heavyweight bout between Elvir Muriqi and an opponent to be announced.
In the co-features, undefeated Light Heavyweight Joel Castillo takes on Billy Cunningham; Undefeated Super Featherweight Mark Davis ; Welterweight Tommy Rainone battles Arthur Medina as well as WBC #3 Super Bantamweight Leon Moore takes on Felipe Almanza.

There will be nine big bouts and below are quotes from the Press Conference:

Robert Diaz (CEO of Havoc Boxing Promotions)—“We have a lot of good fighters on the card with Elvir, Mark Davis and Leon Moore. This is the best cards that we have put together and I am proud of our matchmaker Felipe Gomez.

Elvir Muriqi (Light Heavyweight—38-5, 23 KO’s)—“Last time they had trouble finding an opponent and they found one. This time they are having trouble and hopefully they will get one. I have turned down nobody that has been offered me. Fighters change their mind.”

Joel Castillo (Light Heavyweight—7-0, 4 KO’s)—“I have trained very hard for this fight. I was supposed to fight March 4th and it fell out and there is nothing more disappointing then working hard and you find out the last day that the fight isn’t going through. This Saturday you are going to see me at my best. My mind, body shape, focus and team is right.
Mark Davis (Lightweight—14-0, 4 KO’s)—“I am looking for another win on Saturday night. I am going to put on a show and you will love me”

Frank Galarza (Jr. Middleweight—2-0, 1 KO)—“I dedicate myself to boxing. I will come to fight Saturday night and you will definitley see fireworks”
