LOS ANGELES, CA – FUEL TV, Fox Sports Media Group’s dynamic entertainment and sports network for young males, announces the production of the exciting new six-part original series “Bruce Lee Lives!” premiering on FUEL TV, Sunday, July 17 at10:00PM ET/PT. Each half-hour episode is a contemporary and provocative examination of the greatest martial artist of all time as told through the personal stories of a “who’s who” list of filmmakers, musicians and athletes he influenced; including Ryan Phillippe, Carlos Santana, Jesse Ventura, Chuck Liddell, Criss Angel, Zach Snyder, DJ Steve Aoki, Omar Epps, the Metal Mulisha motocross crew, Herschel Walker, Jabbawockeez, Cain Velasquez, Kenny Florian, and many others.

This comprehensive series is produced by Pangolin Pictures and delves into the continued influence of Lee on today’s pop-culture across multiple arts and disciplines. ”It’s been an epic experience to film the many diverse worlds and individuals Bruce Lee continues to influence today,” says Bruce Lee Lives! Executive Producer Joey Allen.

“Despite Bruce Lee’s passing almost 38 years ago, he continues to have an overwhelming impact on the martial arts world and many credit him with being the father of modern day mixed martial arts (MMA),” says Shane Coburn, FUEL TV Director, Development and Current Programming. “But Lee’s vision went far beyond hand-to-hand combat as he pushed athletic, artistic, and cultural boundaries.”

“Bruce Lee Lives!” explores the legend of Lee’s life, which ended in 1973 at the age of 32, with never-before-seen interviews and features much of his own incredible work. The series provides viewers an in-depth look into his successes, his failures, his plight, his fight, his untimely death, and the indelible legacy he left behind as one of the most influential martial artists of the 20th Century. It also examines his expansion into acting, choreography, filmmaking, composing and philosophy and the lasting impact he’s had in those various areas.

“Bruce Lee Lives!” premieres on FUEL TV, Sunday, July 17 at 10:00PM ET/PT.
