Still the Top Agent in The Business. Monty Cox at 16 Years Talks to Takedown

After 16 years and managing the business of being in the business he still gets a charge out of making the deals. For the most part he’s loved every minute of it. His athletes and he have been surviving on hand shakes and mutual trust for so long its almost become like family. Little disagreements along the way for sure just like in any family.

A week or so ago I interview Jacob Volkmann who was waiting for a fight in the UFC’s stacked division and a week later Monty Cox again delivered. His promotion (Extreme Challenge) where so many young fighters got their start will soon be celebrating its 200th event. The party for the event and his promotion should be incredible as it should be.

Hats off to Monty Cox for all he’s done and all he continues to do.
