Undefeated Female MMA Fighter Cat Zingano on Tonight’s FNU Radio Show
Posted on | May 19, 2011 | No Comments
Cat Zingano (6-0) is making a name for herself in one of MMA’s toughest female weight divisions (125 pounds), and she’ll talk about her cage fighting career tonight on the Fight News Unlimited Combat Sports Show. Zingano was recently profiled in anĀ MMA Weekly article that previewed her last match-up with fellow top-10 125-pounder Takayo Hashi. Zingano beat Hashi by a knockout slam in the third round while headlining Fight To Win’s “Outlaws” event in Denver, Colorado last Saturday. She is also a veteran of the “Ring of Fire” fight circuit where she holds a title belt.
Listen live from 8PM to 10 PM EST (5-7 PST) to “Rabble Rousin'” Rich Bergeron and Tony “The Tornado” Penecale cover the week’s combat sports news in addition to the Zingano interview, which will start at 8:30 PM EST. Click here to access the direct link to the show.
We will also discuss news of Manny Pacquiao’s negotiations to fight Juan Manuel Marquez for the third time and UFC bad boy Chael Sonnen’s indefinite suspension by the California State Athletic Commission. Sonnen is not the only MMA fighter in trouble these days, and we will be talking about a couple other fighter arrests recently that represent two more black eyes for MMA.
Other topics will include a record setting card put together by Boxing’s Don King, three NFL players using MMA training to stay in shape during the lockout, and Antonio Tarver’s $1.5 million payday in Australia.
