165 pounder Iceman John Scully of Connecticut and 156 pounder Roy L. Jones of Florida spar each other at the Maryland gym of Sugar Ray Leonard in preparation for the 1988 U.S. Olympic Trials.

Former Amateur and Professional Boxer and Current Trainer “Iceman” John Scully joins Tony “the Tornado” Penecale and “Rabble Rousin'” Rich Bergeron on tonight’s Fight News Unlimited Combat Sports Show. Scully, one of the few trainers who still steps into the ring to spar with his fighters, is a dedicated trainer who knows a great deal about the sport of boxing and loves to talk about the Sweet Science. The show airs from 8-10 PM EST, and Scully will join the show around 8:45 PM and talk with us up until the end of the show tonight.  For more on Scully, check out his Web-site: http://www.icemanjohnscully.com/

Tony and Rich will also discuss Bernard Hopkins’ record-setting title win over Jean Pascal, Oscar De La Hoya’s entry into Rehab, and the upcoming UFC 130 card this weekend at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main event of that card will be Quinton “Rampage” Jackson vs. Matt “The Hammer” Hamill after the cancellation of the Frankie Edgar vs. Gray Maynard fight due to both fighters sustaining training injuries. Roy “Big Country” Nelson and Frank Mir will also slug it out in the co-main event on this card.

We will also talk about the sad news rocking the wrestling world regarding the passing of “Macho Man” Randy Savage. Additionally, some controversy marred this week’s episode of The Ultimate Fighter reality show after a drunken episode at the house gave way to one of the show’s finalists making some uncalled-for remarks about another’s fighter’s son.
