Newly Crowned WBC, WBC Diamond and Ring Magazine Light Heavyweight World Champion Heads to Bristol, CT Today To Discuss Record-Breaking Win
Bristol, CT (May 27)…The new WBC, WBC Diamond and Ring Magazine Light Heavyweight World Champion Bernard “The Executioner” Hopkins heads to ESPN’s headquarters in Bristol, CT today following his age-defying win over Jean Pascal which took place this past Saturday night, May 21 in Montreal, Canada. At age 46, Hopkins defeated the 28-year-old Pascal to become the oldest fighter in history to win a world title.
Hopkins’ whirlwind day will end in the commentator’s chair for this week’s installment of ESPN Friday Night Fights.
