(Clearwater, FL) –  John Greenburg, acclaimed author, may soon be having one of his latest books adorning the big screen.

Greenburg, who penned Captain Courageous: My True Story; The Grand Old Man: Amos Alonzo Stagg; and Stop Hurting Me, I Don’t Buy It: The Secret to True Happiness, has also worked with two-time world heavyweight boxing champion Riddick Bowe to give the champ’s no-holds-barred account of his life.

The book has attracted the interest of an Academy Award-winning director and is currently at the negotiation stage to be made into a motion picture.

Currently Greenburg is looking for potential investors in the movie project.  Investors will ease the transformation from book to the silver screen in a timely fashion.

Greenburg, a frequent guest on radio and TV shows, speaking on everything from the NFL lockout to teen suicide, is eager to see his book on Bowe turned into a movie.

“Bowe reveals his family secrets,” Greenburg says. “It is the craziest story you’ve ever heard… an eye opener that will raise issues that have never been discussed in sports media before.”

Greenburg has also recently agreed to write Dirty Money: How a Mobster Learned the Five Must-Know Secrets to True Happiness the Hard Way. It’s the story of Joe LaFratta, the son of the head of one of the nation’s largest illegal betting operations, who was raised in his father’s image to become a career criminal.  It will give insights into the current face of organized crime.
