On our RADIO SHOW This week we discussed the UFC 83 card at length, and while I underestimated the staying power and pure ability of Rich Franklin to conquer just about anyone not named Anderson Silva, I called the GSP victory and predicted he’d avenge his loss against a less-than-whole Matt Serra who gave up a chance to battle his arch-enemy Matt Hughes due to a back injury and came off the bench to face Georges St. Pierre on St. Pierre’s home turf at UFC 83 in Montreal. A sellout crowd in Montreal, one of the UFC and MMA’s largest audiences ever, got to take in one of the most exciting cards the industry has ever seen.
