Pete SECRET WEAPON Spratt heads to the nation’s capitol this weekend to face TUF/UFC vet Jason Von Flue in the main event of the Ultimate Warrior Challenge: INVASION promotion.

The talent stacked card card features veterans from UFC, WEC, Strikeforce, and HD Net Fights. It takes place this Saturday at the 10,000 seat Patriot Center arena located on the campus of Northern Virginia’s George Mason University.

The Secret Weapon spoke briefly about his training, and opponent:

“I had a great training camp locally in San Antonio, TX. I spent a lot of time with my jiu-jitsu coach Rodrigo Pinheiro for the ground game. I worked my hands and timing with my boxing coach Jesse James Leija.”

“I should be at my best both mentally and physically for this fight! I am in great shape and feeling really strong due the added program I received from the San Antonio Spurs strength and conditioning coach Mike Brungardt.”

“I am very excited about my upcoming fight in the UWC and look forward to putting on a great main event bout. My opponent Jason Von Flue is a tough fighter with a recognizable name and reputation. I have to look at every fight as a championship fight. I’m pushing to get back with the UFC sometime this year and I have to take every opportunity in front of me. Von Flue is just the next opportunity.”

“I always try to put on a great show, win or lose. My motto is “finish or be finished”. I don’t like to eke out a decision, I like to put it on the line. If you catch me you catch me, if you don’t you are going to get knocked out. Von Flue is a good name, a good opponent and I think it is going to be a good test for me. I’m not taking him lightly at all. This will be a tough test and I look forward to the challenge! Lookout D.C. Area this is a great card!”
