EliteXC’s Robbie Lawler On “CBS 2 Sports Central” Sunday/Tomorrow Afternoon At 3

Fans in the Southern California area can catch EliteXC middleweight champion “Ruthless” Robbie Lawler live on “CBS 2 Sports Central” with Jim Hill and Steve Hartman tomorrow/Sunday, May 18, at 3 p.m. PT.

Lawler, of St. Louis, will defend his EliteXC belt against Sacramento’s Scott “Hands of Steel” Smith in the co-featured fight on “CBS ELITEXC SATURDAY NIGHT FIGHTS” on the CBS Television Network on Saturday, May 31 (9 p.m.-11 p.m.) from the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.

The Lawler-Smith slugfest will be one of five fights aired during the first-ever primetime mixed martial arts event on network television.

In other May 31 fights on CBS, Kimbo Slice, of Perrine, Fla., will face England’s James “Colossus’’ Thompson, Brett Rogers of Minneapolis takes on Jon Murphy of Philadelphia, Gina Carano of Las Vegas will meet Kaitlin Young of Circle Pines, Minn. and Phil “NYBA” Baroni of Long Island, N.Y., will collide with Joey Villase?or of Albuquerque, N.M..

The historic event is presented by Los Angeles-based ProElite, Inc.’s, live fight division, EliteXC.
