Miguel Espino Breaks Top 10

Scheduled to Face Sebastian Demers

May 21, 2008 — WBC CABOFE Middleweight Champion and Former Contender TV Series Star Miguel Espino (19-2-1, 8 KO’s) has risen to the #10 ranking in the WBC and is inching closer to a title shot. One of the road blocks on the journey to a title is Canadian Sebastian Demers.

Both fighters will square off in the co-main event for ESPN2’s Friday Night Fights on July 11th in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Demers’ is ranked #24 by the WBC and is a tough opponent for Espino; however Espino stated that “this will be a great challenge for me and I’m appreciative of the opportunity to showcase my skills in front of boxing fans all over the nation. It’s been a long road for me to get where I’m at and I’m not going to let Demers ruin that for me….he’s going down in front of his home crowd.”
