BROOKLYN, NY (September 7, 2011)—This Saturday night at the Aviator Sports Complex, Rob Diaz and Havoc Boxing Promotions will present an explosive night of championship boxing that will have THREE big featured bouts including a world title bout.
The night of boxing will also have a special tone as on the eve of the 10th anniversary of 9/11, Havoc Boxing Promotions and ALL EMS workers which include Fireman, Police Officers, EMT workers can receive a 20% discount on their tickets at the door with proof of proper ID.
“This will be a special night all around”, said Havoc Boxing CEO Rob Diaz.
“With this great night of boxing, honoring 9/11 and us promoting our first world title bout will be memorable in a lot of ways”
In one main event, undefeated Super Middleweight, Joel “El Ray” Castillo (9-0, 6 KO’s) of Bronx, NY will take on an opponent to be named
Undefeated Colombian knockout artist, Santander Silgado (18-0, 16 KO’s) will take on upset minded Harvey Jolley (12-17-1, 8 KO’s) of Adrian, Michigan in a six round Cruiserweight bout.
Amanda Serrano (11-0-1, 7 KO’s) of Brooklyn, NY will take on Kimberly Connor (9-1-2, 4 KO’s) of Little Rock, Arkansas in a ten round bout for the IBF Super Featherweight world title.
Serrano is known as one of the most exciting fighters in the world and is routinely in the fight of the night and will look to thrill the hometown fans in Brooklyn with this historic bout.
Anthony Irons (3-0-1, 2 KO’s) of the Brownsville section of Brooklyn, NY will take on an opponent to be named in a six round Welterweight bout.
Ryan Ramaya of New York will be making his pro debut against Jonathan Gonzalez (0-2) in a four round Super Bantamweight bout.
Zachary Ochoa of New York will be making his pro debut against William Ware (1-3, 1 KO) of Tennessee in a four round Jr. Welterweight bout.
Armin Mrkanovic (1-1, 1 KO) of Queens, NY will take on pro debuting Kenneth Grossa in a four round Cruiserweight bout
Alvin Acosta (0-1) of New York will take on Lekan Byfield (0-1) of Yonkers, NY in a four round Middleweight fight.
Undefeated Frank Galarza (3-0, 1 KO) of Brooklyn, NY will fight Jorge Luis Perez Adorno (2-3, 1 KO) of Caguas, PR in a four round Jr. Middleweight affair.
Dinmukhamed Niyazov of New York will be making his pro debut when he battles Matteo Acosta (0-3-1) of Puerto Rico in a four round Jr. Welterweight tussle.
Rounding out the card will pit Pro debuting Neuky Santelices of New York battling Fernando Ramos (1-5) of Puerto Rico in a four round Jr. Welterweight bout.
