MTX Audio, the leader in high performance mobile audio products is proud to announce The Ultimate Fighter 7 (TUF) cast member, Matthew Riddle as the newest member of the MTX Audio MMA team.

Matthew Riddle secured his way onto The Ultimate Fighter 7 with one of the most brutal knockouts in TUF’s history by breaking the jaw of his opponent in two places.

Riddle is a young, up and coming fighter that has nothing but good things ahead of him. Upon the completion of the filming for this season of The Ultimate Fighter, Matthew was offered a spot on the MTX MMA Fight Team. His first fight as a Team MTX MMA fighter was aired on Spike TV as a part of the live broadcast of The Ultimate Fighter 7 season Finale on Saturday, June 21st on SpikeTV. Riddle’s bout against Dante Rivera was surrounded with a bit of animosity between the two fighters that started during the filming of The Ultimate Fighter 7 when two personalities clashed. Rivera made comments about Riddle’s age suggesting that Riddle is just a child that doesn’t belong in the UFC. Riddle returned the favor with comments about Rivera’s age and that he was too old to be in the UFC. Rivera even made a comment that if Riddle beats him, he would retire from MMA.

On June 21st, the two were put in the cage to settle their differences and let the world see who the better fighter is. After three rounds of action, Riddle secured the unanimous decision over Dante Rivera in dominating form. After the fight, Rivera cleared the air by giving Riddle credit as a great fighter and said that his comment about retirement was just talk. Matthew Riddle is also the first fighter to be chosen to stay at MTX Fight House. Loyd Ivey, CEO and Founder of MTX Audio, established MTX Fight House as a way to help young fighters learn from two of the best MMA trainers in the sport, Todd and Trevor Lally of Arizona Combat Sports. Together with LG Sports Marketing and Arizona Combat Sports, the residents of MTX Fight House will get all of the professional services that full-time MTX MMA team fighters get and a place to stay while the talent is available. Loyd Ivey said, “Anyone can buy a fighter at his best. MTX MMA is about developing talent. When we got into the audio industry, we didn’t just go buy the best company in the business. We built the best products from the ground up. That is exactly what MTX Fight House is all about. We want to build the best fighters in the world from the ground up and give young aspiring fighters the break they need to live out their dream.”

MTX Fight House is located just minutes from the prestigious Arizona Combat Sports where these fighters will get the training they need to become the best they can be. The fighters that live in MTX Fight house will be working on becoming full time members of the MTX MMA Team. Matthew Riddle said “I can’t believe I am getting free training from one of the best camps in the country, along with a place to live. This is like winning the fighter lottery.” While he will be leaving his family and friends behind, the opportunity that lies ahead is what attracted Matthew Riddle to MTX Fight House. “Getting to be on The Ultimate Fighter reality show was a dream come true, being able to take my training to another level means I may get to realize my other dream of being a full-time UFC fighter.”
