Georges “Rush” St. Pierre Candidate for 2008 ESPY Award

In addition to being the UFC Welterweight World Champion, Georges St. Pierre is a deserving candidate for this years ESPY Award in the Best Fighter Category. He is the only candidate representing mixed martial arts (MMA). Through the TakeDown Radio program we’ve gotten to know, trust, and respect Georges and his management.

During MMA fight promotions we often ask fighters during interviews who they consider an influence and role model. To say Georges is well represented would be an understatement. We hope those same opinions will elevate him to become this years ESPY winner.
