German tabloid Bild Zeitung writes that Vitali Klitschko vs Samuel Peter for the WBC heavyweight title is now officially on for October 11 at the brandnew O2 Arena in Berlin. Klitschko will for the fight be trained by Fritz Sdunek. At the moment it doesn´t look like it will be a Klitschko doubleheader with Wladimir fighting Alexander Povetkin.

WBA supermiddle champ Mikkel Kessler´s defence against Danilo Haussler is now almost certainly on for October 25 with Berlin as possible site.

Russian Sergej Kharchenko, who according to just about everyone but two judges beat Haussler in 2006, was knocked out last night in Poland by Piotr Wilczewski. On the same show – in Swiebodzice – heavyweight Marius Wach outscored Daniel Peret while Norwegian jr welter Geir Inge Jorgensen won over Marian Hodorog on also on points.

King Arthur Abraham´s defence of the IBF middleweight title against Raul Marquez goes ahead October 4 in Bamberg.

Polish lightweights Dariusz Snarski and Maciej Zegan could clash September 5 in an interesting fight between two still capable veterans. Zegan is still signed to Don King Productions and reportedly need to get out of that contract before fighting Snarski.

WBO I/C middle titleholder Sebastian Zbik defends the title August 29 in Duesseldorf against Brazilian John Anderson Carvalho.

Heavies – and stablemates – Rene Dettweiler and Cengiz Koc clash in a supporting bout to Valuev vs Ruiz August 30. Kali Meehan from New Zealand is also on the bill as well as Russian Andrei Fedosov.

Finnish-Swedish heavy Robert Helenius could join the Night of the Champions show September 5 in Karlstad for a final four-round level fight in Sweden before stepping into the real world of professional boxing and will then continue his buildup in Finland and Germany.

Former WIBF jr middle ruler Karolina Lukasik have left Spotlight Boxing and is now back home in Poland with Bullitt Knockout Promotions.

The Sauerland Event show in Bielefeld September 20 feature French jr middle Christophe Canclaux and Bosnian cruiser Enad Licina. Licina could be fighting for the vacant EE-EU title but there´s still no co-challenger found.
