With less than two weeks to go, the principals for History In The Making – Fallon Night of Fights are lining up.

Tyler Hinkey (4-0-1 3 KOs), who is coming off of an explosive first-round knockout in Reno this June will be facing Christopher “Da Future” Green (4-3-1 3KOs) from Denver, CO. Green, who is six-foot five-inches, is a talented and powerful pugilist. He is looking forward to getting back in the ring after a seventeen month long absence. Green lost his last fight, but fought to a controversial draw against the popular hometown fighter Sklyer Anderson in Idaho in March of 2007. With eight professional fights, Green is the more experienced pro going into August 29th.

Tyler’s older, but smaller, brother Derek (5-1 5KOs) was originally set to fight Rodrigo Aguiar (5-4) of Las Vegas, but on Friday Aguiar injured one of his hands during a bout in against Simon Ruvalcaba of Lake Tahoe. Aguire won that bout, but will be unable to fight Hinkey in Fallon. A replacement for Hinkey is being arranged. Hinkey is coming off of an impressive sixth-round TKO over the previously undefeated Gabriel Gil of Madera, CA in June.

Both of the Hinkey brothers’ bouts are scheduled for six rounds.

In the six-round co-feature bout, Carson City’s own Michael Peralta (4-2 1 KO) will be facing Khadaphi Proctor (2-2-1) of Hesperia, CA. Peralta is coming off of a six-round unanimous decision over the previously undefeated prospect Javier Garcia in May. Peralta is sitting on three straight wins and is looking to make it four in Fallon.

The Mongolian boxing sensation Batkhuu “Batman” Otgonchuluun is returning to Northern Nevada after his third-round technical knockout over Omar Valencia in Reno earlier this year. Batman is set to face David Springer (0-0-3) of Las Vegas.

Also added to the under card of History in the Making is Andrew Remp – cousin of WBC USNBC super-middleweight champion Jesse Brinkley. Remp, a 2005 Yerington High School graduate, has had a short but successful amateur career. He will be making his professional debut as a lightweight against Marcos Gonzales from Las Vegas. This will also be the professional debut for Gonzales.

The talented and experienced Theron DeLorme from Reno will be throwing his hat into the professional ring on August 29th as well. With over 150 amateur bouts, the 26-year-old Delorme is taking a wealth of boxing knowledge and ability with him as he prepares to become the future of professional boxing in his hometown. DeLorme is scheduled for a four-round bout against Manny Cotrich (0-1) from Las Vegas.

Mark “The Italian Bazooka” DeLuca is no longer able to fight on the 29th due to a shoulder injury suffered during his training camp. His replacement will be the very popular Anthony Lenk (3-0 2 KOs) who is originally from Northern California, but now lives and trains in Las Vegas. Lenk campaigns as a Jr. Welterweight. His opponent will be finalized within the next few days.

This historic night of boxing is part of Fallon’s Centennial Celebration and will kick off the city’s annual Cantaloupe Festival.
