Q. Including Amateur and Proffesional combined, how many fights have you had?

A. I’m 30 and 16

Q. Which of your fights sticks out the most in your mind and why?

A.The fight with Kyle Olsen, cause I fell out the cage in the first round and went on to fight two more rounds and won by major decision.

Q. Every fighter has their own reasons for fighting and their own goal. What are yours?

A. I just fell in love with the sport and hope someday to make it to the UFC.

Q. Who is your favorite fighter, past or present and why?

A. I like Chris Leben, cause he loves to just throw bombs.

Q. Tell me a little bit about your gym, and the fighters you coach.

A. I train with Des Moines Extreme Fight Team. I train with the best team in the midwest and have lots of faith in Danny Anderson and Chris Mickle to get me ready for all my fights. They push me the most. But all the dmef guys get me ready. So hats off to them too.

Q. The UFC and Pride are the 2 main events in MMA, what are you’re thoughts on the two?

A. I would love to fight for either and looking for them both to grow.

Q. Heroes in or out of the ring/cage?

A. My family, and the Saltsgaver family for helping me follow the right path. My team is a huge part of my success.

Q. What is your favorite moment before – during – after the fight your in?

A. Before I like it cause I’m with my team getting ready for war. I love the fans yelling during, I love the thought of getting hit so I know what I’m really doing this for(the sport of MMA)after is a good feeling unless I loose. If I will I feel I have completed a level and willing to work harder.

Q. How long before you first heard about MMA did it take to realize that, that is what you wanted in life?

A. My best friend Chris Mickle got me Hooked when he was fighting at a local bar here and it was not long after that.

Q. Being a fierce compeititor and a great sportsman both, do you look at each fight different, or the same?

A. I look at every fight different cause everyone has something different to offer in a fight.
