Rider’s Jim Resnick CAA Wrestler of Month
LAWRENCEVILLE-Rider University’s Jim Resnick was named a Colonial Athletic Association Wrestler of the Month for all competition the first month of the 2011-12 season.
A junior from Media, PA (Penncrest), Resnick won his 174 weight class at both the Keystone Classic and the Binghamton Open to begin the season 11-1.
“Jim has had an outstanding month winning both the Binghamton University Bearcat Tournament, and the University of Penn’s Keystone Classic,” said Rider head coach Gary Taylor. “In those tournaments he beat nationally ranked wrestlers in the finals which has moved him up in the national polls.”
