Thai Fighter Numphon PK Sterio Interview

Numphon PK Sterio is currently one of the highest ranked Muay Thai fighters in Thailand. He fights at 61.kg , holds the WMC title at that weight and is ranked number one at Rajadamnern Stadium. Numphon recently travelled to the UK with his trainer Ottur where he defended his title against Liam Harrison. Prior to the fight he found time to speak to FNU and despite his outstanding pugilistic skills proved to be a very humble, polite almost shy individual.
FNU How old are you ?
NUMPHON 17 years of age.
FNU Where do you come from ?
NUMPHON Burriram in North East Thailand.
FNU What camp do you train at ?
NUMPHON Sit Khuniim
FNU How many fights have you had ?
NUMPHON 50, I’ve won 35 and only been knocked out once, by Jaroenchai K Sai gym when I fought for four belts at once.
FNU What weight do you fight at ?
NUMPHON 135 lb thats 61.5 kg
FNU Where are you champion ?
NUMPHON I hold the WMC Champion and I’m ranked number one at Rajadmnern.
FNU Who have you found the hardest person to fight ?
NUMPHON Nompartet Chingcharu in Pattaya at 64 kg.
FNU How do you think tonights fight will go ?
NUMPHON I think I’ve got the energy for it.
FNU Why did you start Thai boxing.
NUMPHON Sanook (It’s fun )
FNU Is there anything you don’t like about it.
NUMPHON I like everything about the sport. I’ve come to England and make good money for it.
FNU Is this your first fight outside of Thailand ?
NUMPHON Yes, I’ve only fought in Thailand and mostly just Bangkok
FNU What do you see in the future, what are your ambitions ?
NUMPHON I’ve not really thought about it too much.

NUMPHON About 70:30 confident.
