San Francisco, Ca – July 2, 2007
“The Riot”
San Francisco Bay Area native and former Golden Gloves champion, Cynthia Talmadge, makes her much-awaited pro debut July 14th at the San Jose Civic Center in San Jose, CA, when she battles Jennifer Barber (1-0) of Northridge, CA.
After a stellar amateur career where she won numerous titles, Talmadge believes her style is better fit for professional competition.
“I’m more of a body puncher that likes to get in close range,” said Talmadge. “In the amateurs, the judging is suited for stick and move type fighters. I like to bang the body.”
Always committed to an offensive approach, Cynthia is a crowd-pleasing fighter; one that boxing fans will surely appreciate.
Tickets are priced at $80, $60, and $40. To charge by phone call promoter Jerry Hoffman at 831-688-1604. Advance orders are recommended. The box office at the San Jose civic will open at 12 noon of fight day, July 14th. Tickets can also be purchased at the Primer Round Magazine headquarters located at 523 South Bascom Ave San Jose Ca 95128 1(877) 759-8822.
