Xmas Joy For Stankovic & Arik In Serbia

On Christmas eve in Belgrade, Serbia two new WBF Champions were crowned as local hero Nenad Stankovic took home the International Cruiserweight title and Uensal Arik from Germany lifted the International Super Middleweight title.
Stankovic beat Germanys Jonathan Pasi by third round technical knockout and won his tenth consecutive bout to improve his record to 14-12-1 (10), while Pasi dropped to 22-24-2 (8).
German International Champion Uensal Arik stopped veteran countryman Turgay Uzun in two rounds, and is now 8-1 (8) in the professional ranks. Uzun fell to 37-19-2 (24).
The show was promoted by Zoran Andjic, and is the last WBF event of 2011. Next up will be January 7 in Magdeburg, Germany where International Light Heavyweight champion Denis Simcic defends against Tomas Adamek from the Czech Republic.
