LOU DIBELLA’S BASEBALL TEAM SET TO PLAY WEDNESDAY ALL STAR GAME

DIBELLA’S CONNECTICUT DEFENDERS TO HOST EASTERN LEAGUE ALL STAR GAME ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 11, AT DODD STADIUM IN NORWICH
Norwich, CT, July 10—Lou DiBella, president and managing partner, is pleased to announce that the Connecticut Defenders will host the Eastern League All Star Game on Wednesday night, July 11, at Dodd Stadium in Norwich, CT. DiBella, an avid baseball fan, is the president of the boxing promotional company DiBella Entertainment, which promotes such champions as middleweight titlist Jermain Taylor and recently crowned junior welterweight belt holder Paulie Malignaggi.
First pitch is set for 7:30 PM/ET, and the game will be televised by Comcast (CN8) and SportsNet New York (SNY) with airtime at 7:00 PM.
The Eastern League All Star Game is proudly presented by Mohegan Sun. Tickets are affordably priced at $15 (premium), $13 (Reserve) and $12 (Grandstand).
Mets all star third baseman David Wright and Phillies first baseman Ryan Howard are alumni of the Eastern League All Star squad.
The gates at Dodd Stadium, the home of the Defenders, will open at 2:00 PM, and the Bank Of America Fan Fest gets underway at 2:30 PM. The festivities will also include: batting practice beginning at 2:45 PM; player autograph session at 5:00 PM; and the Stanton Equipment/John Deere Homerun Derby at 6:00 PM. There will also be a fantastic post game fireworks display.
AT&T will be sponsoring a White Out section where several hundred Navy members will be seated together in their dress whites. Christo’s Steakhouse in Astoria , Queens is also a proud sponsor of the All Star festivities.
