The agency, founded by veteran promoter and marketing executive, Mark J. Selva created the agency after working more than 20 years in the live sports and entertainment profession namely producing and marketing large scale arena, theatrical and outdoor events. Prior to MJS LIVE, Inc. he served as Senior Vice President of Marketing, Live Events and Sponsorship for the International Fight League, LLC , the worlds first Mixed Martial Arts Sports League, where he built the infrastructure of the start-up organization in all areas of national brand and event marketing, venue bookings and logistics and sponsorship sales and marketing while launching and managing a 26 city national arena tour. In addition he served as Producer of the Fox television series IFL BATTLEGROUND.

Selva spent 7 years as Director of Live Events and New Business Development with Madison Square Garden Entertainment where he successfully booked, marketed and produced some of the organizations most well known sports and theatrical properties including The Harlem Globetrotters, Visa American Cup, The Lightpath Senior PGA Classic, The NFL Draft, The Professional Bull Riders MSG Classic, A Christmas Carol, in its final record breaking year and Cathy Rigby is Peter Pan. He started his career in professional tennis logging 8 years as the Tournament Director of both the Chase Championships of the WTA Tour, the women’s tennis world championships and the ATP Tour Hamlet Cup.
