EBU supermiddle champ Karo Murat reportedly defends the title against Italian Lorenzo Di Giacomo, a former EU champ and EBU two-time challenger at middleweight, May 30 at a site to be announced in Germany.
P 3 Boxing have been forced to cancel EU jr welter ruler Giuseppe Lauri´s defence against Juho Tolppola April 18 as the Finn have battling with illness for over a week. The show, set for the Kiisahall in Helsinki, still go ahead with Russian jr welter Dennis Shafikov and former EBU middle champ Amin Asikainen headlining. Also on the bill is Swedish heavy Attila Levin, Finnis heavy Jarno Rosberg and Norwegian jr light Andreas Evensen.
Universum have added a third titlefight to the show in Bremen May 2 as supermiddles Lukas Wilaschek and Dimitri Sartison clash for the vacant German title. It´s also an internal Spotlight Boxing eliminator. Sartison have looked pretty sharp since fighting WBA king Mikkel Kessler in June of last year and is a firm favourite to win in my eyes.
It´s official: it will be Maselino Masoe that challenge WBO supermiddle champ Karoly Balzsay April 25 in Krefeld. The show is headlined by Felix Sturm defending the WBA crown against Japanese Koji Sato.
