ELAINA MAXWELL SIGNS ON WITH PURECOMBAT

Elaina Maxwell has joined PureCombat on a multiple fight contract that will take us through the next eighteen months. We are very happy to have Elaina on our team and look forward to some serious combat from her. Here background in the sport of MMA is not yet extensive but it’s what she’s done before now that really gets your juices flowin when we think about what opponents to place in front of her.

Elaina is a true professional and carries herself with a lot of dignity and grace. She wants her opponents to be at least as tough as she is but she’s not a brawler or a shit talker..she’s all business and knows how to take care of it. She’s met Gina Carano in the Strikeforce cage as well as Meisha Tate and Michelle Maher but it’s her background that really speaks volumes about her dedication, discipline and love of Martial Arts.

Competing all over the world, Elaina has become one of the pioneers of San Shou and MMA. Training in martial arts for over 12 years, Elaina is a 3X World San Shou Champion; she is the 1st American competitor (male or female) at the World Wushu Games to bring home a gold medal. Being a San Shou black belt, Elaina has accrued a list of San Shou titles such as North American San Da Intercontinental Middleweight Champion, ISKA San Da San Shou Light Middleweight World Champion, IKF San Shou US Light Middleweight Champion and Inside Kung Fu Competitor of the Year. Elaina is a K-1 veteran, Strikeforce veteran and Golden State Light Middleweight MMA Champion. Elaina is currently working towards her purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Elaina graduated from San Jose State University with a BS in Business Administration; in her spare time, she is a HRIS consultant.
