BALTIMORE, MD (May 22, 2009) Tickets are now on sale as Chet Koerner’s TKO BOXING Promotions and Scott Wagner’s Ballroom Boxing team up once again to present an evening of world class professional boxing on Thursday, June 18th at Michael’s Eighth Avenue in Baltimore.
Tickets, starting at $35.00, can be purchased in advance, by calling the Ballroom Boxing Box Office at 410-766-7474. Doors on the evening of the event will open at 6:30pm with the first bell at 7:30pm. Michael’s Eighth Avenue is located at 7220 Grayburn Dr. , in Glen Burnie , MD.

Featured at BALLROOM BOXING will be popular junior middleweight prospect Jessie “THE BEAST” Nicklow as well as undefeated welterweight James “KEEP’EM SLEEPIN” Stevenson in separate bouts.
The 22 year old Nicklow, 19-1-1 (7KO’s), will be looking to bounce back after losing an eight round decision to George Rivera on November 1st. Nicklow had previous beaten Rivera in their first bout two months earlier.
The heavy handed Stevenson, has won all eight of his professional bouts by knockout, six within the first two rounds. He is coming off a second round stoppage of Dwayne Shelton on April 30th.
Also returning at BALLROOM BOXING will be world ranked featherweight Matt “THE SHARP SHOOTER” Remillard, 17-0-0 (9KO’s), of Hartford, Connecticut .
At the last BALLROOM BOXING event on April 2nd, Remillard impressed the Baltimore crowd with an outstanding third round stoppage of former world title challenger Jesus Perez.
Crowd pleasing local middleweight prospect Julius Kennedy, 5-1-0 (2KO’s) will also be making his return at BALLROOM BOXING, having stopped James Denson in the fourth round on the April 2nd show.
Rounding out the BALLROOM BOXING card is the Baltimore debut of highly touted undefeated Dominican prospects; super featherweight Delvin Plascenia, 15-0-0 (6KO’s) and junior welterweight Francisco Contreras, 8-0-0 (8KO’s) Both outstanding prospects are guided by award winning manager, Cameron Dunkin.
