Jeremy Stephens vs. Nick Walker (lightweight non-title bout)

Jeremy “lil Heathen” Stephens- 155 pound powerhouse, Jeremy Stephens, who is coming off an impressive performance at UFC 71 against one of the top lightweight fighters in the world; Din Thomas, returns to his hometown to take on tough wrestler Nick Walker. The “lil Heathen” is clearly one of the most exciting fighters in the nation. He brings his hard-hitting, never say die style back to Midwest Cage Championship, where he became the first and only MCC lightweight champion.

Walker, who always comes prepared, looks to keep his winning streak against top competition going. The unassuming fighter can not only take punishment, he can also dish it out with brutal ground and pound. As Stephens looks for the road back to the big show, he will have to get by Nick Walker first.

Mike Van Meer vs. Jason Louck (middleweight championship bout)

Mike “Mini Van” Van Meer is one fighter who will take on anyone, anywhere, at anytime. Often touted as the underdog, Mini Van has been rolling through tough competition and now looks to step up to the challenge of fighting for the MCC Middleweight Belt. Unfortunately, standing in his way holding the title is Miletich Fighting Systems trained, Jason Louck. Louck won the belt last year by knocking out submission wizard Darrin Brudigan in less than 30 seconds. He successfully defended his belt defeating Anthony “A Train” Porcelli in the same fashion. Van Meer claims to have trained harder than he ever has before and says that he plans to bring the belt back home to Des Moines. Louck has other plans, and those plans include putting the Mini Van in the shop!

Chuck Grigsby vs. Tyler Lane (light heavyweight championship bout)

Midwest Cage Championship is excited to crown the Light Heavyweight Champion as well. And, who better than to have fighting other than Chuck “The Reverend” Grigsby and Tyler Lane? Both fighters have dropped down from heavyweight to 205 pounds and both are hungry for the title. With neither fighter ever going the distance in their professional career, it does not appear that this fight will either. Grigsby is looking to make his mark before moving on to the big show, and Lane is looking to avenge his loss from The Rev’s former team
mate, Dan “Big Country” Hutton. This bout has fireworks written all over it!

Also on the card, Corey “Tha Projekt” Simpson, Jake “Dirty Bird” Brown, Jeff Carstens, Josh Christensen, Justin Grizzard, JD Albright, Justin Guthrie, Joe Lawyer, Adam Cunningham, TJ O’Brien, and many more. For the full card, please visit MidwestCageChampionship.com
