Lashley-Sapp headlines June 27 MMA PPV show in Biloxi, MS

BILOXI, Miss. (June 10, 2009) – Four-time World Muay Thai title-holder William “The Bull” Sriyapai (12-4-0) feels like fine wine, getting better with age, as he prepares to face exciting Canadian lightweight prospect Chris “The Polish Hammer” Horodecki (12-1-0) in one of the June 27th featured fights on the “Ultimate Chaos” pay-per-view event, airing live from the Mississippi Gulf Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Former WWE superstar Bobby Lashley (3-0-0) meets K1 and PRIDE combat fighting legend, Bob “The Beast” Sapp (10-4-1), in the much anticipated showdown on “Ultimate Chaos, presented by Prize Fight Promotions and Fight Force International, in association with the Mississippi Gulf Coast Coliseum, and Treasure Bay Casino.

“Ultimate Chaos” is being produced and distributed by Gotham MMA and Integrated Sports at 9:00PM ET/6:00PM PT in the United States and Canada on cable and satellite Pay Per View via iNDemand, TVN, DirecTV, Bell TV, Shaw, Star Choice and Viewer’s Choice for a suggested retail price of only $29.95.

Veteran blow-by-blow announcer Col. Bob Sheridan and colorful mixed-martial-arts heavyweight Seth “The Silverback” Petruzelli lead the PPV broadcast team that also includes color analyst Bray Deavours and ringside reporter Dave Ferguson.

The 37-year-old Sriyapai, born in Japan and living in Rancho Cucamonga, California, is fighting an opponent 16 years younger in what “The Bull” is calling the fight of his life. “I’m expecting a stand-up fight,” he said, “but every time I crack and opponent they want to take me down. That’s why I’ve been working hard on my ground game and takedown defense. I’m 100-percent confident in my stand-up. Horodecki is a tough kid. He comes straight forward and has good conditioning and stamina. His ground game is a little suspect but he’ll still try and take me down. I’m excited to be fighting on a show like this and I plan on winning the crowd over.

“I know a lot of people will be watching on pay-per-view and I want to dominate and win. If it goes to decision I want all of the scorecards, every round, to be mine. He’s a tough kid and well known, so I need to dominate every round. If I finish it, I finish it. This is a very important fight for me, the most important of my career.”

Three-time UFC heavyweight challenger Pedro “The Rock” Rizzo (16-8-0) faces Dutch knockout artist Gilbert “The Hurricane” Yvel (35-13-1) in the co-feature, while former King Of The Cage and Gladiator Challenge lightweight champion Javier “Showtime” Vasquez (12-2-0) takes on The Ultimate Fighter 4 star Din “Dinyero” Thomas (24-8-0) in a featured match.
