APPEARANCE COMES WEEKS BEFORE HE MAKES HIS OFFICIAL RETURN TO BOXING AGAINST JUAN MANUEL MARQUEZ ON SEPTEMBER 19

LAS VEGAS (August 21)…Floyd “Money” Mayweather is back in a big way-back in boxing when he takes on Juan Manuel “Dinamita” Marquez on September 19 at MGM Grand and live on HBO Pay-Per-View®, and he’s back with the WWE as the latest celebrity guest host of WWE Monday Night Raw on Monday, August 24 live at 9 pm ET on USA Network.

Mayweather, who beat the Big Show at WrestleMania 24 in March 2008, is a long time enthusiast and friend of the WWE.

“I can’t wait to bring some ‘Money May’ flavor to WWE Monday Night Raw,” said Mayweather. “When I fought the Big Show, it was a thrill for me to be inside the ring bringing entertainment to millions. Now that I am going to be a host, it takes my relationship and my love for the WWE to a whole new level. Wrestling and boxing fans alike are going to be in for a treat Monday night and on September 19 when I return to face Marquez.”

Mayweather vs. Marquez: “Number One/Numero Uno,” is promoted by Mayweather Promotions and Golden Boy Promotions in association with Marquez Boxing Promotions and is sponsored by Cerveza Tecate, Quaker State, AT&T, Dewalt Tools, Affliction Clothing and Southwest Airlines. The explosive evening of boxing will take place Saturday, Sept. 19 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nev. and live on HBO Pay-Per-View.
