Greetings!

I would like to let you know that Gleason’s Gym sponsors a not-for-profit program for disadvantaged children called Give a Kid a Dream. This program provides kids with boxing equipment and a series of one-on-one intensive training workouts with a world-class Gleason’s trainer. Give a Kid a Dream was created to meet the growing demand from distraught parents, schools, and the juvenile justice system. They were all desperate to find effective alternatives for youth at risk. As a boxer, you understand the physical and mental benefits of this challenging sport. Give a Kid a Dream not only enables youngsters to learn boxing skills, it also: ~ Instills self confidence ~ Improves school performance, behavior and social skills, and ~ Increases the ability to identify and handle problems in a positive way Give a Kid a Dream offers youth a chance to channel their energy into an activity that will foster respect for themselves and others. At the same time, the program keeps kids off the streets and away from influences that may have a negative affect on their journey through this critical stage of their lives.
