The most experienced active Finnish professional boxer Kai “Ironman” Kauramäki is defending his BBU Middleweight title on Saturday evening 12th September at Pori Finland. The show which is called as “Mestareiden Ilta – The Evening of Champions” is containing 5 bouts which in all at least the other boxer is the former Finnish national amateur champion. The main event will be Kauramäki´s first defense for his BBU title which he won back in April 2009 in Poland in fight against Mariusz Cendrowski (POL) (currently 17 (7 KO) – 2 – 1). The upcoming title defense is scheduled for 8 rounds.
The reigning champion Kai Kauramäki made his pro debut already over a decade ago in Finland by beating his opponent by points over 6 rounds. During his pro career Kauramäki has achieved high appreciation as fearless boxer who is always ready to fight with anybody anywhere. So far Kauramäki has travelled with his manager Jaakko Helminen to fight in addition to home fights in Finland in ten different countries all over the Europe while squaring off with many TOP-level fighters like Amin Asikainen (former European champion), Khoren Gevor (former European champion and WBA World title challenger) and Gary Lockett (former WBC and WBO World title challenger).
Kauramäki´s current record is 16 (5 KO) – 15 – 0.

After losing his second pro fight Abdurakhmanov won 13 of his 14 next bouts and earned a title shot against Alexander Abraham for EBU-EE –title in a show promoted by Sauerland Event back in May 2009.
Just after one month after the loss against Abraham the Russian boxer was back in business with TKO 5 –victory over then-undefeated Simon Imre. That way Abdurakhmanov is stepping into the ring with Kauramäki to fight for Baltic Boxing Union Middleweight title with the record of 15 (8 KO) – 3 – 0.
