CHICAGO, IL (September 20, 2009) The David Diaz/Jesus Chavez lightweight showdown from Chicago’s UIC Pavilion this Saturday nigh, September 26th will be broadcast live on GOFIGHTLIVE.TV, it was announced today by Dominic Pesoli, President of 8 Count Productions.
The Diaz/Chavez bout headlines “WARRIORS COLLIDE/WINDY CITY FIGHT NIGHT 6”, a seven bout evening of world class professional boxing all of which will be broadcast.
Said Pesoli, “We’ve gotten a huge response from fight fans not only in the Chicagoland area but across the globe and this allows everyone to view this great matchup. In addition we’ve put together a terrific undercard which will make for an outstanding broadcast.”
The broadcast fee to view “WARRIORS COLLIDE/WINDY CITY FIGHT NIGHT 6” will be $9.99, available live at 9PM EST, 8PM CST, on September 26th and On Demand through GOFIGHTLIVE.TV AND CAN BE VIEWED BY CLICKING THE FOLLOWING LINK:

The co-main event at “WARRIORS COLLIDE/WINDY CITY FIGHT NIGHT 6” will feature Chicago fan favorites Jose Andres Hernandez, 22-4-0 (14KO’s), and Juan Carlos “EL PEZ” Martinez, 16-11-1 (7KO’s) in a ten round junior lightweight bout.
Also on the undercard Chicago based undefeated junior welterweight prospect Ivan Popoca, 11-0-1 (7KO’s) will face heavy handed Puerto Rican veteran Mike Gonzalez, 10-6-1 (9KO’s) in an eight round bout.
A special attraction six round Chicago lightweight bout will feature Jaime “SUPERFLY” Sandoval, 15-4-1 (12KO’s), brother of Jesus Chavez, battling Oscar De La Cruz, 5-7-0 (2KO’s).
In addition, sensational newcomer Diamond Baier, 1-0-1, will appear in a four round junior lightweight bout against Mexico’s Jose Guzman, 6-2-0 (5KO’s).
Rounding out the card, undefeated Chicago based newcomers Achour Esho and David Latoria will return to action, each in four round bouts.
Welterweight Esho, 3-0-0 (2KO’s), will face Tampa, Florida native Ricky Thompson,
1-6-0 (1KO) while heavyweight Latoria, 2-0-0 (2KO’s) will battle Jeremiah Williams, 0-2-0, of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Tickets for “WARRIORS COLLIDE/WINDY CITY FIGHT NIGHT 6” are priced at $151, $101, $76, $51 and $31, and are available through Ticketmaster (www.ticketmaster.com), the UIC Pavilion Box Office (312-413-5740) and the 8 Count Productions Office (312-226-5800).
