And a night full of Champions it was, as James Edson Berto, recently featured in three Showtime Pro Elite nationally televised events, faced Chris Mickle in a match for a Lightweight belt.
Lew Polley and IFL’s latest addition, Chris Baten, put on one of the best Florida fights ever recorded. This epic battle between two outstanding, well-conditioned fighters is a “Must See FightZone TV Event.”
Other highlights include matches between America’s Top Team Luis Nazario and Tampa favorite Chris Holder; Danny Ruiz and Robert Hitte; Allen “Monster Lobstah” Berube just prior to his appearance on UFC’s Ultimate Fighter in the cage against Josh Powell and Carl Greco-Ognibene vs Mike Van Meer.
And you certainly don’t want to miss the ladies match between Canada’s Liz Posner and Kim Predmore. Add well-known Florida Trainer, Ralph Garcia’s first professional fight and a Matt Arroyo appearance and you have 1-1/2 hours of nonstop MMA action.
Commentary is provided by Fight Zone’s Jay Adams alongside UFC’s Stephan Bonner with Nancy Evans getting all the “Behind the Scenes” interviews with the fighters.
The event was held at the Sun Dome in Tampa in front of a SRO crowd and a spectacular pyrotechnics display.
