PHILADELPHIA (October 30, 2009)—On Friday night December 4th, it will be a special night at The Legendary Blue Horizon as Steve Upsher Chambers will look to continue his climb up the Jr. Welterweight division as he headlines the annual “Children’s Holiday Show” boxing card at the famous boxing venue.

Fans are encouraged to bring unwrapped toys for some of the less fortunate children and families.

“This is a night that we circle every year” said Vernoca L. Michael, who is the promoter of Blue Horizon Boxing Inc.

“We help so many families on this night as we encourage our fans to bring toys and we turn around and give those away to agencies to help the needy in the season of giving. Every year our fans come through in a big way and I hope they continue with their generosity. ”

It will be a great night in the ring as Chambers; 20-1-1 with six wins coming by knockout will look to continue his climb up the Jr. Welterweight ladder.

In his last bout, Chambers came out and annihilated Aaron Drake in two rounds as he scored vicious knockdowns and showed off his new found power.

Chambers will take on Richard Hall of Rocky Mount, North Carolina in the eight round main event.

Hall of Rocky Mount, North Carolina brings in a record of 10-21-3 with six knockouts.

Hall’s record doesn’t tell the whole story as to say he has been matched tough maybe the biggest under statement in boxing.

The thirty-four opponents of Hall had a combined record of 279-60-17 with eighteen of those foes entering the ring undefeated.

A brief sampling of the fighters that hall has faces includes Nick Acevedo (9-0), former welterweight title challenger Delvin Rodriguez (8-0-1), Former U.S. Olympian Dante Craig (5-1), Jr. Middleweight contender Anthony Thompson (6-0), Jr. Middleweight contender Jose Celaya (21-1), Current USBA Jr. Middleweight champion Derek Ennis (9-0-1), and in his last four bouts, Hall has faced four undefeated fighters including number-one welterweight prospect Mike Jones and in his last bout he held hot undefeated prospect Bayan Jargal (13-0-1) to a draw this past September 26th in Fairfax, Virginia.
