Holmes in Philly for Jackie Frazier-Lyde
Former Heavyweight Champion of the World Larry Holmes will come to Philadelphia on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 for a Celebrity Boxing event fundraiser for Jackie Frazier-Lyde. Frazier-Lyde an attorney and daughter of Philadelphia boxing legend “Smoking” Joe Frazier won the Democratic nomination for Municipal Court Judge in May, and is seeking election to the Philadelphia Municipal Court seat in Novembers general election. The event will take place at the Veteran Boxers Association headquarters which is located at 2733 E. Clearfield Street (Just off of Richmond Street) from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
