NAAFS Cage Fighting will debut on STO this October 6th at 9 PM EST with a 60 minute broadcast featuring Compton vs Myers 2, Hopkins vs Carabello, Goldizen vs Cofer and 2006 national NAAFS champion Chuck Ellison as he battles Canada’s Mason Woodruff. The NAAFS has also confirmed that Ryan “Lion” Madigan and Jason ‘Dynamite” Dent will both be part of the highly anticipated “Caged Fury 3” event scheduled for November 3rd in downtown Cleveland. The Masonic Auditorium will play host to what promises to be an exciting night of mixed martial arts as many of the NAAFS’ top fighters will be in action.

Featured bouts will include two time UFC veteran and Cleveland native, Jason “Dynamite” Dent (17-8) who’ll battle cross town rival and rising star Torrance “The Tyrant” Taylor (5-3) for the currently vacant NAAFS Pro Series 155 lbs title.

In a co-main event, the unbeaten Ryan “The Lion” Madigan (3-0) will collide with team Gurgels Matt “The Immortal” Brown (9-6) with the winner getting a guaranteed NAAFS title shot in early 2008.

The NAAFS Pro Series 135 lbs title will be up for grabs as “The Pennsylvania Hit-man” Dan Swift (28-22) will take on Buckeye MMA’s Roc Castricone (6-2) in what is expected to be a fight of the night candidate.

Rising featherweight star Sonny Marchette (1-1) returns to the NAAFS when he takes on former Gladiators Fighting lightweight champion Donny “Eagle Eye” Walker (7-4) in a contenders elimination bout at 145 lbs. Also scheduled to compete as part of the pro card November 3rd are Vadim Ivanov (3-2 155 lbs) and Joe McCall (3-0 265 lbs) who will both be looking to move up the NAAFS pro rankings.

The amateur preliminary bouts will feature several mega amateur match ups which will no doubt impact the 2007 amateur rankings and set the stage for the 2007 national finals this December. Strong Style sluggers Kevin Rothacker (2-0) and Stipe Miocic (2-0) will both be in action on November 3rd in Cleveland along with 2006 NAAFS champion John “The Showstopper” Hedges (3-2) who makes his debut at 205 lbs.
