Salita is Scheduled To Fight Amir Khan For The Junior Welterweight Championship On Dec. 5th In England
One of New York’s best athletes is undefeated boxer Dmitriy Salita from Brooklyn, NY. Dmitriy’s story is a great one; as he is an Orthodox Jewish athlete, who balances his strict religion with the rigorous demands of his sport.
Dmitriy is fighting Amir Khan for the Junior Welterweight Championship on Dec. 5th in Newcastle, England.
In addition to being a boxer, Dmitriy is also a community leader; as he gives back and works with teenagers in New York City and helps to teach them boxing and discipline in his free time.
We want to invite Politicians and Leaders from the Jewish Community to come out to support Dmitriy and wish him luck for his upcoming fight.
This event will be held at the Solo Kosher Restaurant this Thursday, Nov. 19th from 11:30 AM-1:30 PM. The media will be invited and lunch will be served to those in attendance.
