Its been a great week in wrestling. Jason Bryant provided great coverage of the Virginia Duals and TDR along with LiveSportsVideo.com provided coverage of the National Duals along with Iowa Public TV and the Big 10 Network. Great weekend of coverage of our sport. Friday night (01-15-10) wrestling will again take center stage on TV as HD Net’s Inside MMA will broadcast LIVE from the U of Iowa Hall of Fame. The panel Scott Casber, Dan Gable, Pat Militich, Guy Mezger join Inside MMA Hosts Kenny Rice, Bas Rutten and Ron Kruck. The topic we’ll discuss, wrestling’s impact on MMA. 8 PM CST

Terry Brands- Assist. Head Coach Univ. of Iowa joins us to preview Saturday nights Iowa v. Oklahoma State matchup

Jim Andrassy- Head Coach of Kent State joins us to discuss his teams rise to prominence. Where once they were giant killers they now win as a matter of course.

Chris Bono- Assist Head Coach of Iowa State joins us to preview the Cyclones v. the Illini match scheduled for Saturday night at Ames.

Jim Heffernan- Head Coach of the Illini of Illinois will face Kevin Jackson and his Cyclones. How important is John Dergo to this teams makeup.

Joey Krebs our west coast corrospondant has news from the west coast. He’ll join us as we wrap hour number 2.
